Party Invites... printable pdfs.
More printable designs for my Pinecone and Lola etsy shop. This one is a party invitation for kids' birthday party. Cute Ted is the hero image. I especially like the little heart on his chest, sort of wearing his heart on his sleeve.... that's what little kids do I guess. Three colours and any age to choose. Print any time and any quantity from your home. Easy peasy.
Oh and I like the sweet little wooden pegs in this shot. They are from kikki.k and very useful. Can't believe how useful.... for a peg that is.

Sneak Peek... new print
I have been thinking alot lately abou giving my art work a bit of a facelift. You know its good to constantly question and challenge what you are doing. This means you will hopefully improve. And I am happy with where I am going. Here is a sneak peek at a crop of my latest piece. Colours are soft but still vibrant. Will be uploading to shop in the next few days. Night time here. Off to bed. Nighty nighty.

Welcome my new Etsy shop : Pinecone and Lola
yay.... my new shop.... has something in it!
I have been talking about it for ages, blogged about it the other day and now I have finally uploaded my new stationery designs to the shop pinecone and lola. I've got this design frenzy going on. Ideas are running crazy and I feel like I can't stop. That's ok, it's a great feeling to be inspired......
And my photography is slowly but surely getting better. I like the textures in these shots, and the detail. Still working on the lighting........

New Design
Hello!
I have just finished photographing a new range of stationery that I have designed. Very excited. It's been great to explore something different. This one has my trusty birds in it, but a new illustration and a bit of type. I am into the hand written word at present. I like the rawness, and the slightly imperfect nature of handwriting.
I set up my shots with the help of the delightful Nicholas, and now I am ready to upload to my new etsy shop.
But I need to wait until the 2 little ones are in bed.... which is still several hours away. So in the mean time, here is a sneak peek.
Now back to playing snap!
Happy Sunday at home with the fam.

New Art Print
It's been a while, but I have finally uploaded a new piece of art - turtle stack. I am cheating however, as I did do this stack before, but I have now re-coloured it and given it a breath of fresh air. Now every time I produce a new piece I upload to etsy and to my bigcartel store (I set this up to link from our web site, and is in Australian dollars). This artwork thing is keeping my rather busy. So now I have a third piece to match back with my bird stack and owl stack... which makes me happy I love things in 3s. What do you think? Do you love a set of 3?

We did it. Our first market!
It's Sunday night and I am one tired worker bee. Today, my lovely Nick, gorgeous friend FK (not her real name, as I know she would like to rename nameless- you know who you are!!) and I held our firat market stall. Now it was a lovely little market called Mathilda's Market and was held at the Hawtorn Town Hall. We had a fantastic spot just inside the entrance and had lots of friendly people come up and say hello. We had prints in our usual A4 size and also road tested the smaller A5s which people loved. (Yay). And we also had some framed, just like our stockists have, again just to test the market.
Thank you to our lovely dear helper and super sales women, I know you saw it as a fun day off, we are so grateful for your help!
Thank you to my other lovely friend, who supplied some cute props for our stall. Your enthusiasm is inspiring to us.
Thank you to all who came to visit, we appreciate your kind words, and hope you enjoy having a little bit of Printspace in your space.

PS. Well almost professional..... As we forgot to take photos of our stall (insane), here are some details of a couple of the bits and bobs we used, just to give you a taste.
PPS. Going to lie on my sofa, watch Rove and eat TimTams.

The Happiest Little One
Hello.
Little A is my youngest son, is such a happy little man. He is always beaming (well not always, he is after all 8 months old) He sat in a high chair at my Mum and Dad's playing with his little plastic spoon for ages. Bash bash bash. Loving the spoon, chew chew chew.
We had a busy day yesterday, my boys and I visited a close friend and her 2 kids, they jumped on a jumping castle, just a little one (castle that is), but when you are nearly 3 that's all you need. Got caught in the rain, but it's a good thing, being in the worst drought, it's always a time of happiness when it rains. But it only lasted for a few hours, the sun was ourt again by the afternoon.
Visited my Aunt, Cousin and her little girl. Which was nice, hadn't seen them in a while. As you get older you don't get the see your extended family as much as when you are little. And even less when you have kids. Gosh time is flying by........

My Son the Photographer
So my nearly 3 year old (Little M) has mastered using my iphone, which still freaks me out, and here is a photo I found on my phone. It's weird finding photos on your phone that you didn't take. He's hilarious when he's taking a picture. He has so many questions, loves to photograph the most mundane things (eg. paperclip, cereal box, hole punch) and thinks its great when he gets a person in the shot!
This one is rather abstract, and very blurry, but I think that adds to its charm. It's of our airplane mobile that was a gift for our Little A.

So there's this quirky Etsy shop the beautiful project where you will find unique & beautiful stationery - nice. I especially like this one... positive energy. Good things will happen, good things will happen, good things will happen......
And for a little more insight check out Jeannette's blog about the small joys it's as sweet as can be. And then there's everybody likes sandwiches, her other blog - this one about food. The title made me smile, and the the recipes made my mouth water. I wish I liked cooking a bit more than I do............

twitter ?
So, I have made myself (or Printspace) a Twitter account. Not sure what this means really, don't get me wrong I understand the theory behind it, I am just not sure how I will use it. I dohn't really know anyone on there, but I am sure friends will pop up. If you are a Twitter-er, and you have any tips, please let me know! Is that a stupid thing to ask? maybe.
I hope to find some nice things to follow too. Any suggestions, please let me know that too.
Going to bed now, it's late and I have had a big day. I am designing prints like mad.
