More Birdies...

I have finally uploaded Birdie Jumble No2 and No3 to the etsy shop. hooray. ohh now I need to add them to the Printspace shop.... oops.

Coco, Daisy and Lulu ....

I have been thinking about colour lately. My obsession with yellow has subsided slightly, and am thinking more about orange and minty blues. Why? Don't exactly know. But have explored some different colour schemes in these birdie prints. They are my Hello.... set.

New Birdstack

I have updated an oldie. My darling birdstack has been so good to me and now I have refreshed and revived him ( or her or them.) There is something love and peace about this piece. Now in the shop.

New Illustrations

I have some new illustrations coming up in my etsy shop. I have uploaded one and hope to get the others on there today. Add to list. What's on my list: take orders to post office and post, bank a cheque, finish off logo design for lovely client, do some textile designs, photograph new stationery designs, upload new artwork to etsy. easy peasy......................................................

New Design

Hello!

I have just finished photographing a new range of stationery that I have designed. Very excited. It's been great to explore something different. This one has my trusty birds in it, but a new illustration and a bit of type. I am into the hand written word at present. I like the rawness, and the slightly imperfect nature of handwriting.

I set up my shots with the help of the delightful Nicholas, and now I am ready to upload to my new etsy shop.

But I need to wait until the 2 little ones are in bed.... which is still several hours away. So in the mean time, here is a sneak peek.

my obsession : homewares - timber!

I love homewares.... show me a cushion, a lamp a throw and I will swoon and ooh and ahh for hours. I spend afternoons dreaming of the colours I will eventually paint my house (when we build it....but that's another post for another day.) the Porter's Paints Swatch book is pure heaven.....

And even things that are just made to bring happiness such as these stunning timber treasures from Millicent & Frank.




What about this for all those mags lying around the house- Offi Magazine Stand- is a beauty !

This Oak smoke small bird by Kristian Vedel is another thing that is just lovely and would make me rather smiley if he lived in my home. You can buy them from great dane (which is my favourite shop in the whole wide world)

New illustration : Birdie Garden

I am trying a slightly different style at the moment and some new product ideas (more on those later - they are in my shop but I need to work through them and some others too.) This one is more organic in style and composition. I enjoyed making this one, and am trying to find time to do some more illustrating. Ahh time...... more on that later too.

Sunny days

Its a glorious sunny day in melbourne today. Bring on Spring. Hopefully it will last! You never know what you are going to get. Anyway here is my latest print - titled SUNFLOWER. Inspired by the happy weather we have going on. Hope I can get to do some mor prints. Time is severely lacking at the moment.....
