Was playing around in photoshop with this photo I took of my little Archie, and thought the colour was too lovely!

Collection

A little collage of things that I like.... for whatever reason, could be the colour, the texture, the shape... a scribble. Some are mine some from magazines from years ago.

Sweet New illustrations - set of 3

I am producing artwork in sets of 3 at the moment. I am finding that people like the idea of 3, they sit nicely on a wall. Also, I have spent a lot of time refining my colour palette and style, so hopefully you could mix and match any of the prints and they would still work as a set.

I am going to come up with some other combos soon. But for now here is a little set called Sweet. She is a darling girl with a very luscious hat and matching coat.

Avatars and Illustrations

So the lovely Amy alerted me to this illustration, by Jennifer Downey and it made her think of my etsy avatar. I see the similarity too, and it's kinda cool. The angles, attitude and feeling is there too.

Coco, Daisy and Lulu ....

I have been thinking about colour lately. My obsession with yellow has subsided slightly, and am thinking more about orange and minty blues. Why? Don't exactly know. But have explored some different colour schemes in these birdie prints. They are my Hello.... set.

Nick has produced some lovely work of late. Am loving this bird one called TALL BIRD.
So 50s inspired, its got some great qualities. And this photo was taken in our little boy's bed room.

First Day...

Hi. It's a big day for my oldest Little One. It's my 3 year old's first day at Day Care. Huge. First Day. We'll see how he goes. He seemed happy enough to stay when I said good bye. Fingers crossed he's not bawling.
Hope not. Shouldn't be. They are lovely there. And he seemed to enjoy sticking little sticks onto paper with paste. Ah the simple things.

So I now have a whole morning to fill. Littlest One (no2) is having his morning nap. It's so quiet. I'm not sure what to do ... hence the blog. No, I have plenty to do.... chores..boring. And I could always upload a new illustration.... or go back to bed.......

I hope he's ok and having fun. xx

Hi there.

Another sneak peek. I am working on a Nursery Rhyme Series due to the success of The Owl and The Pussycat. For some strange reason, it's very popular in the stores that stock my prints. Since people love a Nursery Rhyme, I thought I'd make some more.....
