hunt and gather...
Recently while Nick was in Sydney attending the marvelous Magnolia Square, he purchased a superb cardboard bison from hunt and gather. Our little Maxy was most excited with this gift when Nick returned home, and after a little craft session, our new bison was created. Too cool.
So I thought I would check out what else this store would have.... and was very happy to find a eco friendly designer store full of gorgeous goodies for the home (see the excellent selection of cushions above, yes, type inspired, I did say I had a passion for typography), for the kids, and for us too.

Not just any tray...
One of my goals for 2010 is to slowly give our house make over. (just the inside, as the outside will take far too much time and money). Since we renovated our kitchen/bathroom/laundry 5 years ago, we haven't really done much else. So now its time to dress it up. I am loving these unique one of a kind pieces from artist Boris Bally. Made from recycled road signs etc, they are bold, bright and just my cup of tea. Besides, anything with type on it and I am in love.
On the list.

Tea Towels, Pantone and more.
Is it possible to want everything in one shop?
I think it is.... I have just stumbled across this place called Illustrated Living.
It's not actually a place but an online store... and it is packed with stuff that I just love:
Pantone mugs
Eames Office Notebooks
Ferm Living Tea Towels (see above).
Donna Wilson Breakfast in Bed Tray
Love Poster Karlek
and heaps more.
And I think they deliver to Australia too. Oh ah trouble.
