Today a lovely friend of mine, my little 5 month old and I went to our first
Design Market held at
Federation Square in Melbourne. It was a lovely sunny day, and with bub in back pack we explored the car park venue. Its always an inspiring thing to be surrounded by design... and great design at that! I will spend some time over the next few weeks looking at the participants but here are a couple of old favourites that always deliver the goods. (Oh and we had a yummy lunch down one of Melbourne's laneways.... I love our city!!)
Great Dane Furniture were there.... with delcious homewares and a little furniture.
Also, another Melbourne star,
Nest, were also there with a range of baby ware, jewelry and other fabulous products.

Specklefarm have expanded from what atarted out as a place for beautiful ribbons, into one that has buttons, gift tags, wrapping papers, notecards and more. All in the sweet dot and stripe patterns....
